The France Stele Institute of Art History at ZRC SAZU and the Celje Regional Museum invite you to the opening of the exhibition VERONIKA DESENIŠKA.
This medieval-themed event will take place on Thursday, 20 November 2025, at 17:00, in the Stara grofija exhibition ground, Muzejski trg 1, Celje.
The exhibition, authored by Damir Žerič, MA, and Mija Oter Gorenčič, PhD, will present the life story of the ill-fated Veronika Deseniška. This 600-year-old tale will reveal many new insights. Just a hint – Ojstrica Castle and the Jurklošter Charterhouse! A wealth of previously unseen discoveries and a tomb that has never been closer to being uncovered than it is now.
