Obsežno delo je plod štiriletnih raziskav v okviru mednarodnega projekta MoMoWo - Ženska ustvarjalnost od modernizma dalje in prinaša nova spoznanja na področju žensk v arhitekturi, gradbeništvu, oblikovanju, urbanizmu in krajinski arhitekturi v Evropi in širše. Razdeljena je v osem poglavij, ki združujejo 116 prispevkov na temo o njihovi izobraženosti, kulturni zapuščini, vključevanju v stanovska združenja ali njihovih prispevkih h kulturnemu turizmu in stroki ter raziskovanju njihovega dela. Zaključi jo poglavje z grafičnimi prilogami.
A. Izobraževanje in usposabljanje žensk. Nacionalne in mednarodne preslikave, ki se posveča dostopnosti arhitekturne izobrazbe ženskam od pionirk s konca 19. stoletja do sodobnic 21. stoletja, vključenosti žensk v akademske poklice in feminizaciji poklica; B. Ženska zapuščina in dediščina. Zaščita, obnova in izboljšave se ukvarja z ohranjanjem doslej povsem zanemarjene kulturne dediščine, ki so jo ustvarile ženske, in z vprašanjem vpliva teoretikov in ustvarjalk na spremembo dojemanja ženske zapuščine v družbi; C. Ženske v mrežah in poklicnih združenjih je namenjeno predstavitvi ženskih poklicnih združenj in vključevanju žensk v tradicionalna stanovska združenja; D. Ženske in kulturni turizem se ukvarja z vlogo in vplivom žensk kot uporabnic kulturnega turizma ter z možnostjo razvoja novih »ženskih« destinacij; E. Ženski uspehi in strokovni dosežki. Premikanje meja predstavlja nagrajene dosežke ustvarjalk in s problemom njihove zapostavljenosti pri podeljevanju najprestižnejših stanovskih nagrad v svetovnem merilu; F. Ženske in trajnost. Mesto in pokrajina raziskuje žensko angažiranost v trajnostnem ekološkem razvoju na področju arhitekture in oblikovanja; G. Ženske ""kot subjekti"". Dokumentacija, metodologija, interpretacija in izboljšave je posvečeno metodologiji in virom za raziskovanje ženskih študij ter njihovim odmevom v sodobni historiografiji; SG. Risbe načrtov se ukvarja z vlogo risbe v procesu načrtovanja ustvarjalk na področju arhitekture.
