Co-Cathedral of Christ the Saviour, Sedejeva ulica 2, 5000 Nova Gorica
Facebook event
Description

Visitors of Nova Goricaโ€™s city centre will look in vain for a church bell tower that would indicate a religious building. The original plan of this modernist and socialist city did not envisage it, and yet today, on the edge of the city centre, stands the parish church of Nova Gorica, which is also a co-cathedral. This guided tour will reveal the complex history of the church's origins and its artistic features.

Participants: Tanja Martelanc (art historian), Helena Seraลพin (ZRC SAZU)
